Cross Country Summer Camp will begin Monday, July  9.  Practices will be 
held Monday-Thursday, from 7:00am - 9:00am.  On Monday, please bring 
your Summer Clearance form, filled out, along with $25 for 
participation (If you cannot afford the $25, please contact Coach White).  Athletes will not be able to practice until they have 
submitted a completed Summer Clearance form.
Don't forget to bring 
running shoes, NOT Vans or other non-running shoes.  Snail's Pace will 
give you a 10% discount on shoes, if you mention you are on the Ocean 
View HS Cross Country team.  Also, Big 5 is a good alternative to 
Snail's Pace.  Please remember to begin hydrating over the weekend; 
drinking 5 glasses of water on the morning of practice will not be 
helpful to you.  Also, bring a water bottle and a light nutritious 
snack, for after practice.

Hydration is Import All Year Around - Particularly Summer
Hydration is an important part of preparation and recovery for any 
runner.  Whether it's practice or a big race, hydration (along with 
nutrition and many other factors) is one of the simplest ways to improve
 your performance.
